Do you love God?

Do you enjoy working with children?

Then how about considering volunteering a week or more at Camp Good News?

Here is what some counselor alumni have to say:

"I was so blessed that God let me be a counselor at Camp Good News. I was scared of counseling because I'd never done it before, but I loved it! God taught me so much about how to love kids, about patience, and about trust in Him. On top of growing spiritually, I had a great time! I really enjoyed spending time with the kids and the other counselors and getting to know them better, and I had fun running around planning things for the kids...then actually doing them. I'm hoping to go back soon. What an amazing experience." - Amy D.

"Camp Good News is a great place for children and young adults to learn about God and feel the love of the Father. I have enjoyed being a counselor for the past two years for the girls who come to the camp. This experience has given me a greater passion for the teenage girls around me which I hope to put into practice in the future. The directors, Dennis and Marcia Bailey are also so passionate about all the kids who come, and this passion is very evident in their lives and prayers." - Kathy K.

"Working at Camp Good News is unlike anything else I have ever experienced! The campers arrive on the first day and some are happy to be there, others are more reluctant, but by Friday, none of them want to leave! I love getting the opportunity to show campers from God's word how our Heavenly Father will take care of them if they only surrender their lives to Him. I also love that for the entire summer, my job description is playing exhausting games, creating amazing crafts, memorizing scripture, and planting the Word of Life in the lives of the next generation." - Nick B.

All Camp Good News Volunteers and Employees undergo Background Screening and receive training before working with campers.
